Expand your knowledge of low back pain and its
relationship to yoga. This workshop will include
a discussion of anatomy and kinesiology,
key concepts and frequent areas ofconcern,
as well as how to utilize yoga most effectively.
The goal of this workshop is to teach self-awareness
and empowerment through education.
Asana and pranayama practice will expand
upon these concepts.
Tiffany is a licensed Physical Therapist
and 200-RYT certified yoga instructor
who has beenpracticing yoga for over 10 years.
Restorative Yoga Teacher Training Level 1
The Foundations of Rest with Melissa Montilla
November 4th & 5th
Saturday 9:30 – 2:30pm & Sunday 9:30 – 2:30pm / $158
Learn to teach the practice kindness with restorative yoga. This workshop will explore the body mechanics of relaxation, how different poses affect the body, breath work, creative use of props, and how to sequence and include restorative yoga in your practice and classes. This workshop is appropriate for all levels, and for students as well as teachers. Class size is limited to 14, and taught at a different location. Please pre register to reserve your spot and for location instructions.
This course includes a manual. It is appropriate for all levels and counts as 9 CE hours for Yoga Teachers and Movement Therapists.
Level 2 will be offered in February of 2018.
Backbend Benefit with Nick Utley
Sunday, November 12th 2:00 – 4:00pm / $25
Fundraise for your upper back in the muscles of your legs. Free your spine with isometrics and deceptively difficult micro-movements. Asanas will include variations on cobra and bridge pose, Bhujangasana and Setu Bandhasana, interlaced with core / midline and breath integration exercises.

Find reprieve for hindered hamstrings through dynamic movement, somatic tension release, a better understanding of biomechanics, the physiology related to stretching, and the body’s interconnectedness.
This course includes sequence handouts and instructions to support continued practice. It is appropriate for all levels and counts as 2.5 CE hours for Yoga Teachers and Movement Therapists.
Turn In / Time Out (Moving & Still Meditations) with Nick Utley
Saturday, December 9th 3:00 - 5:00 pm / $25
Take the time to make time. In this session we will bust out a toolkit of tension relieving practices. Starting with simple flow in the body, leading to various pranayama breath exercises, hand mudras, and then to japa mantra repetition. We will conclude with various guided meditations, ending in a lavish and supportive savasana.

More time is allowed for a deeper level of instruction, and focus on particular aspects of practice and wellness.
