Crafting a Yoga Practice;
The Stitching Edition with Melissa Montilla

Enjoy and challenge yourself on this one-day retreat with yoga, nature,
and contemplative craft to find the place where creativity and mindfulness
intermingle – where all of your resources become accessible. Creativity comes from process and a commitment to practice. This retreat centers on building practices and eliminating boundaries around process to expand your creative potential.
Novice stitchers & beginning yogi’s are welcome!

Saturday, April 23rd 
9:00am - 5:30pm at a retreat space in Melrose, FL

Schedule:
8:45 – 9:00 am Arrival
9:00 – 10:30 am Yoga practice
10:30 – 12:00 pm The Stitch & Sketch Primer; an introduction to free hand stencils,
  embroidery basics, and finding inspiration, permission and
  composition in nature.
12:00 – 12:30 pm Vegetarian lunch, community, and a little more stitching.
12:30 – 1:30 pm Stroll, Swim, Sketch.
1:30 – 5:00 pm Create: a meditation cushion
5:00 – 5:30 pm Restore

Price: $188 pre registered by April 17th or $218 after April 17

Included: all materials (organic, domestically produced hand dyed cotton and vintage wool and silk kimono
  fabric plus design supplies and notions), yoga props, vegetarian lunch, coffee, herbal tea, & snacks
Please bring:  a yoga mat, swimsuit & towel, hat, sunscreen, walking shoes, and any necessary comforts.

You will receive a map with instructions to the lake when your registration is received.
